1992- Zurich- 48th FIFA Congress Participant Medal
The 48th FIFA Congress featured 118 member associations and was held in Zurich, Switzerland. At this Congress, the South African Football association was confirmed as a FIFA member. Members also voted for the host of the 1998 World Cup. France won the bid after only one round earning 12 votes while Morocco had 7 votes. Switzerland, England, and Germany withdrew.

Het 48e FIFA-congres bestond uit 118 ledenverenigingen en werd gehouden in Zurich, Zwitserland. Op dit Congres werd de Zuid-Afrikaanse voetbalbond bevestigd als FIFA-lid. Leden stemden ook voor de gastheer van het WK 1998. Frankrijk won het bod na slechts één ronde met 12 stemmen terwijl Marokko 7 stemmen had. Zwitserland, Engeland en Duitsland trokken zich terug.
